Exposure of Our Insecurities

Exposure of our insecurities typically sets us up for uncomfortable situations. Whether it's your skin color, intellect, talent, or looks,  either way your insecurities should not cause you to think less of yourself.  The devil would love for you to feel in adequate a out yourself. Why?  "TODAY"  sponsored by MSNBC,  wrote an article, "Does your heart sense your emotional state?" Dr. Rollin McCraty of the Institute of HeartMath visited “TODAY” to discuss the science behind the theory.

"Psychologists once maintained that emotions were purely mental expressions generated by the brain alone. We now know that this is not true — emotions have as much to do with the heart and body as they do with the brain. Of the bodily organs, the heart plays a particularly important role in our emotional experience. The experience of an emotion results from the brain, heart and body acting in concert."

What does this mean? If the devil can poke and prod at our feelings,  our emotional state,  he will eventually get to our heart.  The more inadequate,  self conscience,  embarrassed we feel,  the devil is slowly creeping in.  Once he wounds our heart,  he can continue through that opened door and eventually get us to doubt God. You start to doubt God and now we have moved towards isolation.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. The temptation here is to get you to turn your heart from God.

Choose to find JEHOVAH (YAHWEH) JIREH -THE LORD OUR PROVIDER in your situations so he can help you stand up.
